About
I was born in Grasse, France where I lived for 20 years. I married my childhood sweetheart in 2008, and moved to The United States a year later. We lived in Minnesota for 12 years and eventually moved to Texas to warmer weather which we enjoy a lot.
My husband and I both have the privilege to have Italian dads who were born in North Africa, so we have a lovely mix of Italian, French, and North African culinary influences. Food is our main love language! Giving love through food is what we do!
I am a big introvert, so I have more of a quiet and shy personality. But I do love hosting parties and having friends over for meals. When we receive people in our home, my husband does the talking and I get busy in my kitchen! (Thank goodness for extroverts!!)
I love making people feel welcome. Cooking for them is always an honor, I give all my heart every time.
Even though I enjoy cooking, baking is my absolute favorite! I like improving recipes, experimenting, creating, and playing with textures, colors, and flavors... It's like magic at my fingertips! And if I have the opportunity to use my piping bags, it's even better!
I have always liked to be in the kitchen, whether it was to help my parents, watch my grandma cook, or bake cakes with my friends after school... When I noticed I was good at it, I wanted to try more and more recipes to eventually create my own.
I also learned a lot from my sweet mother-in-law. We enjoy cooking together a lot and every time she comes to visit, we have so much fun in the kitchen!
I also love to challenge myself and when I find something hard to make (like macarons or croissants...), I want to know if I can do it. I try until I succeed. I never give up! Being able to make complex dishes or desserts, and sharing my gift with people brings me so much joy!
I am far from perfect as I also fail sometimes...but it makes me grow and learning from my mistakes humbles me.
I can definitely tell that the kitchen is my happy place and as I like to say: "Where there is food, there is love."
I am a very passionate person, when I bake or cook, I put all my heart into it. This is how I spread love around me!
I recently made a dream come true: I opened my own cottage bakery. It is a home-based business that allows me to work and take care of my children at the same time. Working from home gives me the opportunity to do what I love most: Baking and raising children! I really enjoy it.
I am so grateful and blessed to finally be able to spread love to my community through my baked goods, and to anyone willing to give me a chance. I definitely appreciate all the support I get.
Thank you for visiting, I really hope you will enjoy everything you see here!
Bon Appétit!
