Cognac Pasta Skillet
Ingredients

12 oz cooked noodles
1 onion sliced
2 14,5 oz cans fire roasted diced tomatoes
3 garlic cloves minced
2 Tbsp cognac
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 broccoli head cooked until tender, separated
14 oz sausages of your choice
1 Tbsp butter
1 cup heavy whipping cream (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Herbes de Provence

Instructions

1 - In a large skillet, melt the butter and cook the onion with the sausages for about 7 minutes.
​
2 - Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
​
3 - Add the tomatoes with their juice and the cognac, and cook on low heat for about 2 minutes.
​
4 - Add the red pepper flakes, the herbes de Provence, salt and pepper.
​
5 - Pour the cream and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes. (Optional)
​
6 - Remove from heat and add the broccoli. Stir in cooked noodles.
