Molten Lava Cakes
Ingredients
(For 6 small ramekins)
7 oz melted chocolate + 6 squares
1/2 cup melted butter
4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
4 Tbsp flour
Powdered sugar or cocoa powder for dusting (optional)
Instructions
1 - Grease and lightly flour 6 small ramekin dishes.
2 - Preheat oven to 350°F.
3 - In a bowl, beat the eggs and the sugar together.
4 - Add the melted butter and stir.
5 - Add the flour and the melted chocolate and stir.
6 - Pour batter into the ramekin dishes and place a chocolate square in the middle of each ramekin.
7 - Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until outsides are firm and dry, and centers are slightly wobbly.
8 - Allow to cool slightly then immediately invert onto plates to unmold.
9 - Dust with powdered sugar or cocoa powder (optional).
10 - Serve warm to enjoy the liquid chocolate center.
