Pesto
Ingredients
A handful of fresh basil leaves
Grated parmesan cheese to taste
5 to 10 garlic cloves to taste
A drizzle of olive oil
Instructions
1 - Rinse and dry the basil leaves.
2 - In a food processor, mix together the basil leaves, parmesan cheese, garlic, and olive oil poured gradually.
3 - Add more olive oil or more parmesan cheese to desired consistency.
*** Add sun-dried tomatoes for a "Pesto Rosso".
→ USEFUL TIP: To have pesto all year long, freeze pesto in ice cube trays. Once frozen, store pesto cubes in zipper bags up to one year.
