Breads
Pizza Dough
Ingredients
(For 3 regular baking sheets)
2 cups lukewarm water
1 Tbsp sugar
1 packet fast rising yeast
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp herbes de Provence
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1 - In a glass, stir the yeast, water, and sugar together. Set aside until foamy.
2 - In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and herbes de Provence together.
3 - Add garlic and stir.
4 - Pour the water with the yeast, add olive oil and stir with a wooden spoon until dough comes together. Knead with your hand then transfer to a floured surface.
5 - Continue kneading until you can form a ball (add flour as needed.)
6 - Place dough in a clean bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise for one hour.
7 - After an hour, dump the dough onto a floured surface and knead a few minutes. Spread dough with a rolling pin and place on baking sheets or pizza pans.
8 - Make pizzas using the toppings of your choice.
9 - Bake for about 10 to 25 minutes (depending on the size or thickness of the pizzas) in a preheated oven to 400°F.
