Smoky Corn

Ingredients

 

3 tbsp butter

4 cups frozen corn

1 red pepper

1 onion

1/3 cup small bacon pieces (cooked)

1/2 tsp smoked sea salt or more to taste

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp steak seasonings

Cracked pepper to taste

2 green onion branches for garnish

 

Instructions

 

1 - In a small bowl, combine the smoked sea salt, pepper, steak seasonings and paprika.

 

2 - Dice the pepper very small.

 

3 - Slice the onion.


4 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter and corn.

 

5 - Cook the corn until golden-brown stirring regularly.

 

6 - Add the red pepper and onion slices, and cook until tender.

7 - Add bacon and seasonings, and cook a few minutes.


8 - Transfer to a serving plate.

9 - Add green onions.

Enjoy with barbecue meat or sausages.
